Russian Ekrantelecom Chooses Teledata Networks’ BroadAccess for $12M IMAP Project

Amsterdam, Netherlands – October 19, 2004: Teledata Networks, a leading provider of wireline access products and network solutions for telecom operators and service providers worldwide, announced today its $12M contract with Russian Ekrantelecom for the delivery of BroadAccess Integrated Multiservice Access Platforms (IMAPs).


The agreement was signed in July 2004, and follows previous agreements that were implemented in the last two years. In the framework of the contract, Teledata Networks will provide BroadAccess systems that supply a comprehensive portfolio of services, from POTS to ADSL and G.SHDSL, and support both IP and ATM network uplinks. Services will be provided over extensive SDH rings, each supporting as many as 10,000 subscribers.
