Teledata Networks Cooperates with Italtel for Delivery of BroadAccess Multiservice Access Gateways to Telefonica Moviles Guatemala

Amsterdam, Netherlands – July 5, 2006: Teledata Networks, a leading globalprovider of innovative Access Network solutions that enable smooth migration toNext Generation Networks (NGN), is supplying advanced BroadAccess MultiserviceAccess Gateways supporting broadband and traditional services to TelefonicaMoviles Guatemala, as part of an agreement between Italtel, one of the leadingcompanies in the supply of products, solutions and services for next generationnetworks over IP, and Telefonica Moviles Guatemala, which is a part of theTelefonica Group in the Guatemalan market, supplying wireless and wireline services.

The agreement covers the modernization of the access network, migration to an IPbackbone and the supply of high speed Internet services to business and residentialsubscribers in the City of Guatemala.

Teledata Networks’ participation in the project is a result of its strategic cooperationwith Italtel for development of Next Generation Network solutions. TeledataNetworks’ equipment supplied to Guatemala includes BroadAccess MultiserviceAccess Gateways supporting V5.2 and IP networks, and a mix of traditional andbroadband services, from POTS to SHDSL and ADSL2+.
