Teledata Networks Wins $17 Million Deal with Major Central Asian Operator

Herzliya, Israel – October 12, 2009: Teledata Networks, a leading global provider of innovative Multiservice Access solutions for NGN (Next Generation Networks), has won a $17 million deal to provide a major Central Asian telecommunications company with the new BroadAccess-1000E systems to advance their existing infrastructure towards NGN.

As part of the awarded project, hundreds of BroadAccess-1000E systems will be deployed across the country to deliver a range of voice and broadband services of up to 100Mbps to residential and business customers. The BroadAccess-1000E systems will provide the multi-functionalities of an IP-MSAG, IP-DSLAM and Fiber Access platform and will transform the current network to IP-based NGN.  The systems will be installed in an advanced FTTR and FTTP network architecture that is ideally suited to the supply of high speed services over copper and optical fiber. With an all-round optimal solution for the operator's access network evolution, BroadAccess-1000E incorporates a powerful 360Gbps Ethernet design together with 10Gigabit- Ethernet resilient transmission and a range of optical and xDSL services, including ADSL2+ and VDSL2.
